I’ve had a couple of experiences this week that have reignited a desire to be a friend to people and overcome my hang-ups about being awkward and assuming or caring what people think of me. Connecting with people is what makes me happy, and cycling out of a more introverted mind frame makes me feel optimistic.

One of those experiences was a spontaneous lunch with a past client. I happened to go to the Winco on Fairview to get some deli chicken for lunch. Being there reminded me about Dan ***, a client who I helped purchase a house in the neighborhood behind the Winco. In an act of complete spontaniety I called him up (I remembered he works from home) and offered to bring some lunch. He accepted and we had a great time eating lunch together and playing pool. So fun, even more so because it was unplanned.

Today I have a meeting with a friend and fellow agent to strategize about ways to incorporate video into neighborhood farming and growing brand recognition.

I hope to spend the rest of the day reaching out to people and creating what I have dubbed my perpetual newsletter.
