TJE Today FAQ

Q) What is this ‘Today’ thing. (the question asked the most.)

A) The purpose of this website is to help visitors get to know me. My idea is to collect my day to day experiences here. So it’s all about me, TODAY.

Q) Isn’t that a bit egotistical?

A) It sure seems like it, but I know I can’t compete against other real estate websites, so I need a different kind of site. This gives you the opportunity to get to know me a little bit better. I think (and hope) that when you meet me in person you’ll see I’m pretty down to earth.

Q) What is ‘Cirrus Drive life’?

A) There are two parts to Cirrus Drive Life.

The first is a phrase I use to advertise my neighborhood, and the three others that line Cirrus Drive in Caldwell. It’s a unique place to live, and I enjoy showing it off to anyone I can.

The second way is to talk about the life style of living along Cirrus Drive. It’s about escaping the hustle, enjoying the outdoors, coming together with neighbors and friends, and living a generally awesome life.

Q) Why do you think a small little area in Caldwell is so special?

A) I made a video about it. You can see it here.

Q) Do you only practice real estate in the Cirrus Drive area?

A) No, I will help someone with real estate anywhere in the Treasure Valley, as well as bordering counties.

Q) What’s with the photography? It seems kind of random.

A) Photography is my hobby and I like to share it. It’s one more way I can help you get to know me.

Q) why do you practice real estate?

A) Short answer – because I like it. It provides a good living, it offers a variety of experience, and their is always something new to learn.

Reigniting Some Photo Fun

I feel like taking some pictures. I’m using my Fuji x100T with some off board flash in a monochrome film simulation. It takes a little time to set up, but I’m going to take some photos of my everyday life and see what I can do. This is my car. I’ve never really cared...
The Big Day

The Big Day

April 16

Today Jaidyn + Kaleb have their first baby.

How amazing. We are so curious to know how they are doing, but we don’t want to bother them, or intrude on an experience that is so special to them. We will leave tomorrow afternoon to stay with them a few days. I can hardly wait.

The ***’s house closed yesterday. I feel very grateful for that. I’m happy that they get to come back here soon.

The ***’s should be able to make a trip here next week. I’m not sure what to expect from them.

I need the universe Heavenly Father to provide me some more buyers and sellers.

I wonder at the growing trend for people to look to the ‘universe’ to provide for them instead of God.

It seems like many people I know are willing to believe that a power exists in the ‘universe’ beyond what we see or experience with our natural senses, but are hesitant to believe this power comes from a a heavenly being, and even more hesitant to think this heavenly being is the father of our spirits.

Why is that?

I suppose because it’s easier. Believing in a tangible, personal God makes things more complicated than believing in an impartial universe. I can think of two reasons.

One, thinking of God as an individual leads to the idea of an obligation to behave a certain way if we want to be on that individuals good side. It seems like the human race grows more inclined to reject a standard of behavior imposed by any influence outside of themselves. Not only is there a growing rejection of a moral standard, we simply don’t want to be told what to do by anyone.

Two, it’s more difficult to be convinced that we are not merely subject to the whim of a capricious God. A ‘being’ will have traits, where as a ‘universe’ just is. Where one may have love, and therefore love more the one that loves back, an impartial universe treats every being exactly the same. It’s easier to know where we stand.

Cirrus Drive Life

There’s a beautiful drive in the heart of Canyon County, where Nampa and Caldwell meet.

Lined with tall trees and whispers of something special, this is Cirrus Drive—a place where each curve and turn holds a story, and every home is part of something bigger.

Four neighborhoods are connected by Cirrus Drive, each unique and offering something different than all the rest. If you’re looking for a new place to live, you can find it here.

This is where I live.

Call me and I’ll show you what the Cirrus Drive Life is all about.

I’m proud to live in Canyon County, but I consider all of southwest Idaho ‘Our Canyon Country’.
It’s a beautiful and varied place. If you haven’t been here yet, you deserve to experience it for yourself. Boise is great, but there is so much more to see.

What My Clients are Saying

Throughout the entire real estate process, we felt like TJ was always responsive to our questions and concerns. He always conducted himself professionally and was very easy to work with. He made us feel confident in his knowledge and ability to complete our transaction without any issues. If you’re looking for someone that’ll be dedicated to help sell your home, we would highly recommend TJ.

                    – Derrick & Melody Pierce

“HI TJ. I just want to thank you for the amazing and very professional job you did as the Realtor for the sale of my property. You displayed efficiency, timeliness, and knowledge of real estate every step of the way. You were very patient and polite in answering all of my questions. I appreciate how helpful you were in every phase of the selling process. You always had a name and telephone number as needed for repairs. And you were also willing to roll up your sleeves and give a helping hand yourself when needed! You are at the top of my list for future real estate sales, and I will recommend you to all my friends and family! Thanks again, and best of luck to you always.”

Mary Hickman

My husband and I have had the pleasure of knowing TJ for almost 10 years now on a personal and professional level. He has always exhibited the traits I believe create success: Communication, professionalism and promptness. That, in addition to his personal investments into his clients, a fun personality and a relatable quality that makes him approachable and trustworthy. TJ would be a positive addition to any team or project. We highly recommend him for any real estate needs!

Brad & Nina Walker

TJ, thank you so much for helping us get our new home. After all our roadblocks we almost gave up, and then you found the right people to get things done. A very big thanks.

– Auto & Megan

TJ has been a delight to work with. He has followed through on every detail, has been sympathetic and patient. He knows his work and has been friendly, caring, and enjoyable to work with. Relying on his knowledge and ability we felt secure in trusting him. Thanks TJ.

– Stephen & Beverly Chapman

TJ’s expertise in real estate and the personal touch in everything he does makes the selling experience a breeze! My wife and I were always apprehensive about using a friend to sell our home, but I’m so glad we did. TJ went out of his way to do multiple things to help us sell this home, and his no pressure approach, and guiding hand made this super easy.

– Andy & Heidi Birch

We are really happy we chose TJ Eardley to sell our home. We were selling during a time when only one house per month in our price range was selling. TJ did an amazing job taking pictures and electronically showing our house, which lead to multiple showings per week. We ended up getting a cash offer that required us to be out of our home within a few weeks. TJ went above and beyond to help us finish the contingencies and be out on time. TJ worked super hard, was never pushy and was always a delight. We would recommend him to anyone.

– Jeff and Lisa Bryson

TJ listed and sold our home in Caldwell, ID. He was a pleasure to work with. He is a seasoned professional that is focused, ethical, results oriented, and just a genuinely nice man. He went above and beyond to be helpful and we are grateful to him for all that he did to bring this sale to a smooth close.

– Bill and Judy Rucinski

Mr. Eardley’s competence and knowledge made the selling of our house much less stressful.  He was always upbeat and helpful and kept us advised of what was needed and what was going on.  To say that he was helpful is inadequate.  He went far beyond what was necessary to make the sale possible.  If I need to sell again, I will most definitely hire him!
