I’m having an open house for the Christensen’s today. The first one we held was kind of a bust, but hopefully this one will get at least a little bit of interest. It was well advertised. That’s the work part.
This evening we have our church Christmas party. That’s the play part. I need to make some cookies for it.
We had a fine time wrapping up our baptistry experience last night. Nothing monumental. The *** took us out to dinner afterwards. Us, them, and the *** attended. We went to the Olive Garden.
I feel a pull to ramp up the video for the Cirrus Drive Life. To ramp up everything actually.
Come Follow Me
One of my favorite verses. “If ye will have faith in me, ye shall have power to do whatsoever thing is expedient in me.”
what is expedient for the Lord? Sometimes it’s hard to tell. Death of loved ones certainly doesn’t seem expedient to us many times, but it may be to the Lord. Faith in Him doesn’t mean we will be able to do everything we want to do, but it does mean that we will be able to accomplish what He deems necessary if we will exercise faith in him. Part of that faith may be putting away ambitions or plans that are not expedient.
