I pulled my calf muscle yesterday playing pickle ball, and it’s still very tight. I cannot walk without limping. It’s much better than yesterday, so I think I’ll be back to normal quickly.

Today will be our last day serving in the baptistry of the temple. We served about 2.5 years. It was a very good experience. The highlights all involve the people we met.

Sis. *** is a stalwart young single adult who brings herself nearly every week.

One time a newly turned 11 year old girl came, and she had such anxiety about going into the font, but it just so happened that when it came her time to go in the font, it was only her family left in the baptistry. It seemed like the Lord worked a little miracle for her that day.

*** was probably the most inspirational person we were privileged to meet and work with. He’s had MS for many, many years. He has served in the temple since it opened, and he goes to a substantial effort to do it. His example of sacrifice and desire is pioneer like. I want to be like him when I grow up.

Today I’ll drop Jenn off at work, go to the Eagle office, put in some diligent effort, and then come back to Caldwell and pick up Jenn for the temple.

Things I want to get done.

  • order new business cards
  • Get my material for 8 in 8 designed

Come Follow Me

It’s so interesting to me to read some of the last chapters of the Book of Mormon and get the narrative of the people. Reflecting on what was happening with those people and the state of our world now and comparing the two makes me wonder what direction our world is going to take in the future. And how quickly that future will unfold.

what seems so comparable is the reaction of many to the killing of the health insurance executive recently. Murdered in the street and a portion of our society seemingly glad it happened. Not only glad, but willing to state it publicly.

“For so exceedingly do they anger… they have lost their love, one towards another… and they have become strong in their perversion… and they delight in everything save that which is good.”
