I have enjoyed the time I’ve had to get some things in order to start the new year. I think 2025 is going to be a great year for business.
Sales is really about service, and service is about caring, and I get motivated by the thought of caring for others. I’m not the best at it, but I recognize in myself a constant improvement over time.
I have spent the last few days getting my website in order. I’m very pleased with how it’s coming together. There is a lot I feel I need to get done in the month of December.
I’ve given a few of the ‘Best Day’ books out. I have several more to give. I need to do several ministering interviews. I need to get the marketing material I want to get out for my 8 in 8 Campaign. And so much more.
Wednesday night was the youth activity where they have dinner with some of the older people in the ward. I wanted to go so I offered to do the dishes as payment for letting me attend. It was fun to visit with so many.
We had our company party on Tuesday night. It’s always fun to get out on a date with Jenn. It was a good party. Noisy though, and my brain gets overwhelmed with all the sound, so it becomes hard for me to relax.
Yesterday I got the phones returned to the Verizon store. I had gone the day before but they were overwhelmed with customers and I couldn’t bear to wait it out. Instead, I decided to get there yesterday morning before it opened and be the first in line. I wondered if there would be a hiccup, but it was very smooth.
Today I would like to go see *** if hes up for a visit in the hospital. I should also check on Destiny and Jesse’s progress. I need to get Helen + Diana’s photos finished. I should also start adding content for the Cirrus Drive project. Much to do. And we return to the temple today after a 3 week hiatus.
Come Follow Me
A particular part stands out to me this morning from Moroni chapter 6, verse 5.
“And the church did meet together off, to fast and to pray, and to speak one with another concerning the welfare of their souls.”
I like the part about speaking one with another concerning the welfare of their souls. This part, and the rest of this chapter, describe a people who are concerned about their spirits. They have decided to make their spiritual well being a priorty in their lives.
I think alot of people hesitate to speak with others about religion, unless it’s with like minded people. But it’s easier to speak with people about their spiritual well being. It’s also easy to gloss over that topic with a quick “How are you today” as we make our way past others to get on to what we feel we need to do.
I hope I might take more time to speak to others intentionally about the welfare of their souls.
