There are many things happening in my life right now, with work, family, and church. If I think about it all it becomes overwhelming. Trying to master the art of focusing on the immediate present helps.

I’m behind on photos for the Blue Line Valentine event, so that’s my first priority for today.

I’ve committed to *** to show a house in Nampa at 1:30.

And I wait to get word on the progress of the *** house.

Lots of good things are happening in the realm of business.

Other areas of life are equally abundant, though it seems what I spend the majority of my time on is business.

Jaidyn is due in less than two months. I can’t really comprehend what the feeling of being a grandpa will be like.

Kelsee will be married soon. I hope they don’t have to struggle too much. They are not starting from the point I wanted for them, but they seem devoted to each other, and as long as that devotion stays strong I feel confident they will get through the tough spots in life.

Caleb and Sienna both have equally weighty transitions they are going through.

The idea I once had that life would somehow be less complicated when the kids grew up seems so naive now.

As I think about it all I ask the question “what is it all for?”, or, maybe a different and better question is “in all the day to day details, how do I maintain focus on my WHY?”
