I have clients from out of town and we have arranged a number of showings. We will get some driving and it’s going to be fun. we’re going to see some nice houses and property.

The weekend was full, but abundant. It was stake conference, so a lot of church. Jenn and I started Saturday off by going to the temple. Had breakfast, and then went home to do an open house at the *** house.

From there I went to the neighborhood Walmart to get a snack and water, and then straight to the first Saturday session of stake conference. We had a second session on Saturday evening and then one on Sunday morning.

There were some great talks given. An especially good one was from *** from Caldwell 19th ward on Saturday night. Also Sis. ***, and *** gave stand out talks on Sunday. And Sunday also had a children’s choir that was very touching. I felt the spirit of God many times. A take away for me was a thought regarding the scripture verse 2Nephi 25: 26.

It’s the one where Nephi says “we talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we preach of Christ, we prophesy of Christ, and we write according to our prophecies…”

I came away from conference feeling like I should speak of Christ more. One difficulty I have in speaking of Christ is feeling hypocritcal, but the thought I had this weekend helped me to realize It’s ok to speak of Christ because we know in him we speak of truth, and the ideal, even if the reality falls short. I know reality won’t always line up with the ideal, but that shouldn’t stop us from speaking of it.

Truth- Never changing, erernal things.

Ideal- The way things should be.

Reality- The temporary state of things.
